Abstract
A method for dynamic simulation of squirrel cage induction machines with consideration of winding distribution, slot openings, and saturation effects is presented. For the simulation the object oriented environment DYMOLAcopy is used. The simulation results are validated at steady state by an analytic model, based on harmonic waves
