Abstract :
We describe an approach to the problem of contradiction between the wealth of facilities and the compactness of a language. This approach removes this contradiction by structuring languages. The main idea is to decompose the development task into micro contexts each of which can best be supported with their own micro sub-language. The π-schemes (the family of visual languages) and software complexes PYTHAGORAS and πLOGO are implementation examples. The characteristic features of the software environments are orientation to graphic descriptions of algorithms, functions and syntax, animation, and using the hierarchical multilanguage technology
