Abstract :
Owing to the fact that gas turbines are widely used in various fields of industry, design of a proper controller for them has attracted considerable amount of attentions during last decades. While all real engineering systems are vulnerable to different kinds of uncertainties like noises and external disturbances and also change of parameters of the system during operation, the robustness of controllers which have been designed for these models is a very crucial factor which should be considered. In this investigation, a robust controller with parametric uncertainty has been designed for a time-variant model of gas turbine called Weiner´s model. This model is a simplified model of the exact non-linear model of gas turbine which has been developed using Dymola software. H method is utilized in order to design the controller. This controller is supposed to guarantee the robust stability and robust performance of both linear and non-linear models of gas turbines. In the next step, the designed controller has been applied to a min-max strategy including the exact model to avoid the engine´s working limits like compressor surge, turbine over temperature, and combustion chamber´s blow out.
