Abstract :
Based on Galois fields theory and computer simulation this paper describes N1/2/3 m-sequences having relatively low maximum periodic cross-correlation lower bounded by 3N1/2 and upper bounded by 0.01 N approximately, where N is a sequence period. The proposed m-sequences are superior to Gold sequences when a number of large periodic cross-correlation values is important, thus, they may be useful for mobile communications based on asynchronous DS-CDMA systems
