After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

The source of enterprise competitive advantage has continuously been one of the central propositions in strategic management since strategic management discipline was born in 1960s. Human thinks and acts usually according to the routines in reality. It is the same way for enterprise which is made up of people. So enterprise routines play very important role during an enterprise´s survival and development and they can become the origin of enterprise competitive advantage through allocating enterprise resources effectively. So the article defines the definition of enterprise routines at first, and then reveals the original mechanism of enterprise competitive advantage from the aspect of enterprise routines. Based on the above analysis, the current study provided a platform for the following empirical research.
