Abstract :
New process control and supervisory control and data acquisition systems are being implemented utilizing inter-and intranet connections. The interconnectivity of the systems pose new hazards and concerns called cyber-security threats. This paper uses a dual case study that presents areas of concern and guiding principals for the designers, engineers, project team and operations groups for these systems
