Abstract
Adaptive stabilization for single-input single-output continuous-time systems with unknown parameters and subject to stochastic or deterministic disturbances is discussed. The condition used is the weakest; it only requires the system order and the stabilizability of the system in consideration, which are necessary for stabilizing a system even in the case where the system parameters are known. Neither a positive real condition nor an upper bound of system disturbances is required
