Abstract
I present the results of experiment and calculations concerning the integrated electron emission from crystalline samples as a function of the incidence angle of the primary electron beam. Single scattering cluster (SSC) approximation was used to describe the diffraction processes of primary electrons in the samples composed of sub lattices formed by different atoms. Polar Directional Elastic Peak Electron Spectroscopy (DEPES) profiles were measured and calculated for Ni(111). I present also the theoretical two dimensional DEPES maps for Ni(111), Ni(001), Ni(110) and AuCu3(001) obtained for different primary electron beam energies of 1,0 keV and 1,2 keV.
