Abstract :
A space-time joint estimated algorithm, SAFE algorithm, is developed to estimate azimuth angle and Doppler frequency of targets within one beam width in this paper. The algorithm applies the multi-channel super-resolution technique to the single-channel scanning system radar in order to improve the estimated precision of azimuth angle. Theory and simulation analysis verifies the validity of the algorithm. A frame is built to describe how to apply the classic super-resolution spatial spectrum estimation algorithm to the Doppler frequency and azimuth angle joint estimation of scanning system radar.
