Abstract :
This research paper concerns interfaces for compact appliances. It proposes a method of controlling compact appliances using palm motions with low specification microcomputers. First, the problems of palm motion detection in the past are discussed as the background to this study. Next, the causes of the problems, an improvement policy and a method of achieving the functions the authors required are discussed. Finally, the results of the verification experiments using T-Engine and its various applications are examined.
