Abstract
In this paper, we propose a new method as a solution to decrease the high cost involved in 3D cameras. For this purpose, we have developed a simple and fast algorithm to calculate depth based on Pixel-Intensities as a model for depth measurement. The images are taken by varying the focus value in small steps, and each pixel in the image is taken as a single measurement. The proposed algorithm is fast and precise, as compared to previous methods.
