Abstract
Symbolic computation can be used as an effective tool for the analysis of bifurcations in dynamical systems, allowing one to establish the relationship between the state variables and the parameters that play a crucial role in the occurrence of such phenomena without the need to perform extensive numerical calculations of every equilibrium condition
