Abstract :
In spite of the establishment of threshold exposure [1] [2] and their taking into account in the legislation [3] [4], most of interrogations of general public remains focused on the field radiated base stations levels. To know the reality of these people exposure, it is essential to be able to have tools allowing a precise evaluation of the received radio frequencies amounts. Even if the majority of the applications to be measured are currently confined at frequencies lower than 3 GHz (GSM, DCS, UMTS and WIFI), the development of new standards (WLAN, WIMAX ...) makes it necessary to develop adapted measurement solutions. To answer the need for upper frequency measurements, we present in this article a new isotropic sensor made up of a tri-axis probe with high isotropy performances for frequencies ranging between 2 and 6 GHz.
