Abstract :
This paper presents a middleware design and architecture for hybrid digital cable receiver (HDCR) which provides both cable broadcast interface and broadband Ethernet interface, and is capable of handling mixed services efficiently including execution of interactive data application which is reusable from existing cable services based on OCAP.
