  • Abstract
The authors consider the performance robustness of a unified delta system which is subject to linear structured state space uncertainty. They extend their previous (1992) stability robustness results to obtain new sufficient conditions for performance robustness. This yields a new result based upon their previously presented modal decomposition approach and another new result based upon the Lyapunov approach of R.K. Yedavalli (1985). An application of performance robust eigenstructure assignment to the design of a yaw pointing/lateral translation control law for the Flight Propulsion Control Coupling (FPCC) conceptual aircraft which was studied by K.M. Sobel and F.J. Lallman (1989) is presented
