Abstract :
The EPCglobal is an important standard for RFID. The ONS, which is designed based on the EPCglobal, determines where an EPC is located. Several approaches, such as the EAN.UCC system and DoD identity types, use the EPC. The RFID network designed based on the EPCglobal combines several code systems, including the EPC and an Object Naming System for complete network service. The EPC research currently focuses on middleware, localization, collision and etc. Future RFID EPC network systems will have novel network structures that increase the entire EPC performance combined with the IPv6 network. This study investigates EPC network environments and presents a novel RFID/IPv6 network topology based on EPCglobal standards. Additionally, this study presents a novel RFID EPC network that enhances performance and achieves IPv6 superiority and network.
