Abstract
The fuzzy regression model (FRM) that expresses a relation between input fuzzy data and the output is applied to the photovoltaic (PV) system to predict the complete on-line characteristics. This carried out through the determination of the PV model unknown parameters (Rs , Rsh, Iph, I0 and the ideality factor n). Usually data sheets neither state the values of these parameters at any operating point nor specify its variation with temperature or insolation. An analytical model has been introduced for calculating these parameters from the I-V characteristics of the data sheet. All the parameters calculated from this model are considered fuzzy data and a FRM has been developed to calculate the I-V curve at different environmental conditions. The assumed FRM parameters are the fuzzy constant (α0, Co) fuzziness in the input information (h) and the fuzziness in the output data (e). In this paper the sensitivity analysis of the PV model unknown parameters (Rs, Rsh, Iph, I0 and the ideality factor n) with the suggested fuzzy model parameters e, h will be introduced
