Abstract :
According to different modulation methods, there are 3 different kinds of SPWM modulations. To different SPWM modulation methods, due to the distinction of switch frequency and current harmonic, power frequency inverter loss is also different. Based on the analysis of SPWM modulations, losses of an inverter bridge have been compared. Depend on the establishment of MATLAB simulations, harmonic parameters of transformer are obtained, and the transformer losses are analyzed. Through experiments on a 500W power frequency inverter, practical efficiency of 3 kinds of SPWM modulation methods is obtained, and corresponding conclusions are verified.
