Abstract
In this paper, an effort has been taken by the authors to introduce the contrast intensification operator for intuitionistic fuzzy sets of root type to process the gray and colour image by enhancing its clarity and quality through Java language. Also comparison is made between the existing Fuzzy Set, intuitionistic fuzzy sets, intuitionistic fuzzy sets of second type and intuitionstic fuzzy sets of root type.
