Abstract
The selection of test sets to satisfy software testing criteria is a very important task. This task poses questions about quality and efficacy of the generated test data. Constraint Based Criteria (CBC) for software testing are proposed. They permit us to find errors other than the errors revealed by structural testing using distinct fundamentals of different test data generation strategies. They can be used either to select test data sets with a high probability of revealing errors or as an assessment of test data set adequacy
