Abstract
We experimentally demonstrate an erbium-doped fiber laser which is passively mode-locked by Single-Wall Carbon Nanotubes (SWCNTs) saturable absorber. Generating 600 fs pulses at 120 MHz repetition rate, this laser exhibits a low rms timing jitter of 35 fs [10 Hz, 10 MHz]. To the best of our knowledge, this is the lowest timing jitter observed from a fiber laser passively mode-locked by SWCNTs.
