            Abstract :
The paper describes time delay circuit synthesis using the approximation of circuit pulse response. One starts by choosing the pulse response as a delayed semi-period of the sinusoidal function of the n-th degree. The Laplace transform of this response is a transcendental function. The real and imaginary parts of this function may be expanded in infinite products. Then, by approximating these expansions by a finite amount of terms, one can obtain the circuit transfer function realizable by a reactance circuit loaded with a resistor. A design example for the case of delayed sine-squared pulse response is given
