Autonomic System Management for the PDA

This paper describes the component-based autonomic computing system for the PDA or smart phone. The proposed method includes self reconfiguration and self-healing. The self reconfiguration provides the dynamic reconfiguration of middleware according to the upgrade of middleware components and provides efficient execution of the application by organizing the minimal set of middleware components. The self healing provides the system recovery and the re-installation of the application and middleware components against runtime errors from the applications.
