Abstract :
This paper presents a systematic approach to adapt a SVC bitstream to support multiple users simultaneously. Also, we show how the tools of MPEG-21 DIA can be used to enable interoperable and automatic adaptation in this case. The solution of our approach provides the users with optimal overall quality, a wide flexibility, and seamless adaptation.
