            Abstract : 
This paper describes architecture for supporting legacy digital broadcast services over IPTV networks. Legacy services refer to pre made real-time broadcast streams based on open standards such as MHP, ACAP, and OCAP. They use MPEG-2 TS as delivery protocol, but this is not a good choice for IPTV as it is defined in view of unidirectional media such as terrestrial or satellite networks. The proposed architecture retransmits digital broadcast services using IP-oriented protocols including service delivery, service discovery and selection, XML-based application signaling, and integrated application execution engines.
