Abstract :
This article consists of a collection of slides from the author´s PowerPoint conference presentation. It is concluded that it´s time for an industry assessment. It is time to consider if Intelligent Networks (INs) have lived up to their goals? Can IN keep up with the pace of our lives today? Is IN a burden keeping more traditional carriers from competing with Internet startups? We must answer these questions honestly and fairly to move forward.
