Abstract
A new approach is presented for the estimation of the time delay. It can be applied together with most stochastic-deterministic recursive adaptive schemes, estimating the process parameters at the same time. Simple design formulas are given for automatic tuning of the proportional integral derivative (PID) regulator parameters
