Lessons from successful technology based startups

In the recent history, we have seen many successful technology based startups that reaped huge returns in a short time. These have inspired many entrepreneurs to exploit technology for startups. In this paper, we would look at some successful technology based startups, with focus on the entrepreneurs who initiated the startups and the sources of technology. We hope to gain some insights into the characteristics of such startups and the process of starting up a technology based enterprise to better understand the nature of technology based entrepreneurship. In particular, we want to know how aspiring entrepreneurs can emulate such successes.
