Abstract :
The application of a low voltage low power operational transconductance amplifier as a front-end for capacitive sensors is here described. Two traditional topologies, which use a capacitance-to-frequency conversion to automatically determine the capacitance variation, are proved to operate with supply voltages as low as 1.5 V
