Abstract :
INTELSAT are involved in every aspect of international satellite video and we have every kind of digital video application on our fleet of satellites. We see the international video market at a turning point. We see all the new applications and all the new technology to support them. We believe the combination of these elements will allow many new market sectors to open in the international satellite video area in the near future. Digital compression will allow video channels to be designed to have lower cost which will enable new multimedia, business TV and narrowcaster customers to transmit video by satellite
