Abstract :
Six novel pipelined data converters are reviewed. They include three pipelined analog-to-digital converters with high-speed potential, a quasi-passive pipelined digital-to-analog (D/A) converter with low power consumption and low cost, and two pipelined D/A converters which perform data conversion starting with the most significant bit. These circuits have less circuit complexity than the flash converters without losing the high-speed advantage.<>
