Abstract :
This paper presents a new six-port circuit using slot-line technology operating at 5.8 GHz. This circuit uses four slot-line hybrid couplers and CPW to slot-line transitions. The use of the slot-line technology allows avoiding using air bridges as used in the conventional CPW technology. To examine the performances of the proposed circuit, simulations and experimental measurements were carried out. A good agreement between simulation and measurement results was obtained over the entire operating frequency band of interest (5.8 GHz).
