Abstract :
A new method, based on the radio frequency identification technology, has been proposed to get the vehicle running state parameters in this paper. Vehicle traveling data recorder (which is also called automobile block box) can accurately record the state parameters of the automotive traveling process, which can offer a real, effective and scientific legal basis for the analysis of traffic accidents. The data stored in the traditional vehicle traveling data recorder can only be read after parking, so the traffic law enforcement departments can´t keep abreast of whether the driver has speeding and other violation behaviors on a section of highway. This system adds a radio frequency identification module on the base of the traditional vehicle traveling data recorder, which achieves non-stopping to get the vehicle´s running parameters on some section of highway. It helps the law enforcement travel department monitor the vehicle´s running status, which can more effectively curb speeding and other violations. This system has a good prospect in the field of automotive electronics.
