Abstract :
Inhomogeneous gain saturation in C-band and L-band EDFAs is compared for the 980 nm and 1480 nm pump wavelength bands. Results demonstrate the manner in which pump wavelength and saturation signal wavelength affects the L-band inhomogeneous characteristic.
