Abstract :
The problem of specialized model reduction of plants destined for closed-loop operation is given an algebraic form, by means of a transformation based on Chebyshev series expansion. It is then solved through a least-squares approach. The main feature of the method, frequency-dependent design, is used to advantage to tune the model to closed-loop specifications
