Abstract :
The simultaneous switching noise (SSN) coupling effect is analyzed by the finite difference time domain (FDTD) method in a printed circuit board (PCB) from a high-speed digital system, and a new PCB with a conductive layer is proposed for the reduction of the SSN coupling effect. The calculated results show that the new PCB is very effective for rejection of SSN coupling in the high-speed digital application
