Abstract :
Study of non-Darcy seepage is one of the issues of groundwater resources. In this paper, theoretic and empirical laws for non-Darcy radial seepage in groundwater are systematically analyzed and summarized. On the basis of Darcy law, a new kind of seepage model is developed which includes Darcy flow and non-Darcy flow. By means of critical Reynolds number, radial seepage model is built. In this model, the seepage is considered non-Darcy porous flow within the critical radial and Darcy porous flow beyond the critical radial. The affection of critical radius to the pressure distribution is analyzed, which is important for the ground sedimentation in the area of irrigation and drainage. The results indicate that the model is reliable.
