Abstract :
A miniaturized, dual band, artificial magnetic conductor is presented. The miniaturization is achieved using interdigital capacitance using metallic tracks on the AMC surface. The AMC is designed to be dual band having two adjacent sub-unit cells, with different capacitance. Simulation results of the reflection phase and the surface currents are presented.
