Abstract
Lack of public confidence and trust in privacy protection is one of principal obstacles in adoption and wide use of national Electronic Health Records system. Very often there are no laws that would explicitly regulate this area. Here we present an overview of agreements - based structured approach of distributing responsibilities among main EHR stakeholders and users. The purpose of this set is to facilitate effective self regulation of the system in a transparent way, assuring users that confidentiality would be protected.
