Abstract :
This paper provides an overview of multibeam antenna solutions for communications applications from L-Band to V-Band. For each type of application, examples are provided for the most common antenna configurations with an emphasis on enabling technologies. The paper discusses various antenna configurations including array-fed reflector with beamforming, single feed per beam solutions and oversized shaped reflectors.
