Abstract :
A result is discussed proving that under mild conditions stabilization and pole assignment for linear time-invariant discrete-time systems are possible by means of periodic memoryless output feedback control. The result is more than a statement periodic memoryless output feedback. The theorem provides explicit conditions under which the pole assignability problem is solvable, and in fact gives a set of equations from which the gains can be obtained
