Abstract
The authors study the chaotic behavior in a family of linear discrete-time systems with a quantized state feedback. Using the tools of dynamical system theory, they establish a necessary and sufficient algebraic condition for chaos and present a probabilistic characterization of the quasi-random chaotic behavior in this family of quantization systems
