Abstract :
ICD (Inflow Control Device) is important to increase the ultimate oil recovery, because it can effectively adjust the production profile in each horizontal segment, reduce local pressure drop and control the degree of edge and bottom water coning. In order to describe the applicability of ICD completion in horizontal well quantitatively, many factors need to be analyzed, such as permeability variation coefficient, draw down pressure, heel-toe effect, ICD controlling position and controlling length. The mathematical method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is introduced in this paper, which uses subordinate function to describe each influential factor. For there are many factors having effects on the applicability of ICD installed in the horizontal well in sandstone reservoir, we establish the influential factors weight matrix and fuzzy relationship evaluation matrix to make the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. The evaluation result shows that this method can evaluate ICD applicability in horizontal well in sandstone reservoir, and the research also can give significant guidance for evaluating ICD applicability in the horizontal well and promoting its wide application in the oil field.
