Abstract :
Successful transfer of General Electric´s (GE´s) design and process for a C-band 3-W, two-stage amplifier form GE´s pilot line to four Hughes/GE MIMIC (microwave and millimeter-wave integrated circuit) team foundries is described. The cooperative exchange of technology that has enabled transport of this C-band MIMIC is detailed. The fabrication status, process variations, and data achieved by the foundries are described.<>
