The export process of livestock supplied to Hong Kong includes breeding of livestock, supervision from government, inspection and transportation, customs clearance, slaughtering, cutting into pieces and then selling in the supermarket. In the whole process, RFID are used to collect important data to form provenance information. The provenance system for livestock supplied to Hong Kong is developed using electronic RFID vehicle cards and RFID ear rings.
