Abstract :
This paper presents a methodology for load testing an Ajax application. WebLOAD, an open source tool for performance testing, is used to simulate a huge number of client requests to the server. The load testing is used to evaluate and compare different scenarios on the system performance. In order to avoid misleading results, load testing of Ajax applications should incorporate not only server-side but also client-side code, because it can have a significant impact in determining the generated load.
