Abstract :
A novel driving method is proposed to improve the picture quality of active-matrix organic light-emitting diode displays. A pulse-width modulation with current uniformization is presented to overcome the non-uniform characteristics and degradation phenomena of thin-film transistors and organic light-emitting diodes. Its working and effect are confirmed using an actual pixel equivalent circuit.
