Abstract :
Impulse responses are shown for a wideband circular array. Correlation products allow the localization of small sources. An initial near-field image of a Dirac source in the area of radiation exposure is depicted, and the target is localized. The ultra wideband circular array with two different metallic cylinders have been simulated using the Array Scanning Method (ASM) applied to the Method of Moments. The resolution between metallic cylinders is investigated experimentally and numerically. The procedure accounts for multi-scattering between target and array. Preliminary results are also provided regarding reconstruction of a dielectric cylinder positioned in the area of radiation exposure.
