Abstract :
This article is devoted to the problem of the influence of different kinds of losses on the attenuation and wave slowing in the helical slow-wave structure of TWTs. The equivalent circuit of a helical SWS, and calculations of its distributed parameters, corresponding to different physical regions, are proposed. In this article, the frequency dependences of attenuation and slowing of electromagnetic waves are also given.
