Abstract :
In this paper an analytic method based on Interval Arithmetic for the analysis of sub-arrayed architectures is developed. The interval array factor and the interval power pattern have been defined considering the correlation existing among elements belonging to the same sub-array. Selected numerical results are presented in order to compare the interval power pattern bounds generated by sub-arrayed and unsub-arrayed architectures.
